We are very proud of our Post 16 provison and, in particular, of the support and guidance that we give to all our students. It is big enough for us to be able to offer you a wide range of courses and opportunities, but small enough for us to know you well and to be able to support you and meet your individual needs, whether that be financial support or support to achieve your highest aspirations.
We offer an Honours Programme at Post 16 that seeks to challenge our most academic students so that they can continue to be selected by the most prestigious universities and for the most oversubscribed courses. The Honours Programme is open to ambitious students who achieve 5 or more A/A*s at GCSE and includes activities such as master classes, university visits, subject-specific conferences and extension studies.
For further information about the Honours Programme, please download the document on the right.
The 16-19 Bursary Fund: If you need some financial support to help stay in education, you can apply to school for the 16-19 Bursary Fund. Further details can be downloaded using the link on the right.
Transport Bursary Fund: We do not want the costs of transport to be a barrier to any student wishing to continue their studies with us in Years 12 and 13. We have therefore introduced a CHS Transport Bursary Fund, details of which can be found in the downloads section on the right.
