Students Brave the Shave and More for Charity
On the last day of Spring Term, two of our bravest and most selfless Year 8 students, Mason Hopkins and Reve Clowes-Michael, chose to ’Brave the Shave’ in aid of charity, Crohn’s and Colitis UK.
The pair, who had worked hard to persuade both parents and school to allow it to go ahead, had already raised almost £700 by the day of the shave and it is hoped that the charity event will raise over £1000 for the very worthy cause.

Our charity fundraising efforts continue to enable us to help people all around the world. Head Girl, Suzannah de Takats, took charge of our Save the Children initiatives, which included a hamper raffle and a collection of ’Pennies in a Bottle’. When all the donations were calculated, we found we had raised a fabulous £1530.74 for the organisation.
Our Red Nose Day fundraising in March, which included a cake sale and cake raffle, totaled almost £800. Year 8, Katie Darmon, baked the fabulous raffle cake, which was won by Year 7, Corey Rogers.
Well done to all involved.
