New Alumni Page - Celebrating Student Success to Inspire and Inform

Congleton High School is delighted to share the first of what is hoped will be many stories of former students of the Box Lane site schools on its brand new Alumni page.

From students who left only a few years ago, to those stretching as far back as 1966, the school aims to use these case studies to inspire and inform current and future students about the varied careers available to them and also the many different routes to success.

Whilst many students know precisely where they want to be in ten year's time and the steps they need to take to make sure that happens, there are an equal number who are unclear of how to get where they want to be or uncertain about what they actually want to do. It is these students that the school hopes to reach with stories of the very people who were standing where they once stood.

To date, amongst others, the site incudes accounts of a retired Atomic Energy Technologist, a US based Patent Consultant, a Technical Director for Stoke City FC, a Head of Visual Art in an American school in Singapore, a Hair Stylist and an Executive Director of South Staffordshire College, all of whom are able to share the details of their journey to their current position.

Please help to continue to grow the site by telling your story. CHS would love to hear from anyone who attended any of the schools on the Box Lane site - Congleton County Secondary School for Boys, Heathfield High School or the current incumbent, Congleton High School.

So, whether your career has been a meteoric rise to success, or it's progressed at a slow and steady pace, or maybe even been a stop/ start affair, perhaps with the odd U-turn thrown in, then Congleton High School would love to hear about where you are now and how you got there.
