Another Great BBC Children in Need at CHS

The students and staff at CHS always support the Children in Need cause, going to great lengths to raise as much money as possible to support the charity. 2018 was certainly no exception with Team CHS cramming as much fun, activity and fund raising into the lunch hour as possible! Once the buckets were emptied and the coins counted, the fantastic total came to over £1200!

The talented team baked and sold cakes alongside a range of sweet treats and Children in Need products. Others performed in front of their classmates, singing and playing instruments. The highlight of the event for many was finding out who would receive the dreaded 'gunge' treatment, Mr O'Brien or Mr Goodwin. To the delight of everyone, it was two for the price of one, with both popular teachers drenched in goo! Luckily Mr Goodwin had remembered to bring spare clothes but Mr O'Brien was last seen squelching down the corridor!

Pudsey Bear (aka Assistant Principal, Mr Warren) even put in an appearance to help the fundraising team collect as many donations as possible. Thank you to all the students and staff who took part in organising and running the event and to all those who came along to enjoy the activities and help to raise money.
