Examination and Assessed Coursework Resources

As well as completing all your coursework on time and revising for examinations, you should make sure that you understand the regulations set by the examination boards and that you have all the necessary equipment you need for each examination.

The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) produces guidance and information for candidates on behalf of the AQA, City & Guilds, CCEA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC examination boards. These relate to things like candidates sitting written examinations, doing coursework, taking on-screen tests and doing controlled assessments. You can access these from the list below.

Please also see the information in the downloadable document on the right regarding the review of centre assessed coursework marks.

If you are worried about examinations, don't suffer alone, speak to your parents or carers, form tutor or your Guidance Team Leader, all of whom will be able to listen to your concerns and provide support and practical help.

There are also many useful sources of advice and information online, including from organisations such as AQA and ChildLIne
