The Department for Education has announced changes to Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and all schools will be required to comply with the updated requirements.

This means that we will be reviewing our RSE curriculum and policy so we can be sure our RSE provision is appropriate for our pupils based on their:

  • Age
  • Physical and emotional maturity
  • Religious and cultural backgrounds
  • Special educational needs and/or disabilities

We need your feedback please to help us do this.

Here’s how you can help:

To help you to understand the curriculum requirements we need to meet, please do take a look at the summary of what all pupils are expected to know by the end of secondary school. This can be found in the downloads to the right hand side of the page.

Once you have read the document, please complete the feedback form via the link below before Friday 8th January 2021:

Your views are very important to us and we will respond to you on the outcome of this process later in the Spring term. Once we have considered all of the feedback, the finalised Relationships and Sex Education Policy will be uploaded to the school’s website which will also set out the proposed curriculum.
