2021 Year 6 Open Evening

Main School

We would like to warmly invite Year 6 students and their parents/carers to come along to our Open Evening on Thursday 23rd September to see for themselves why Congleton High School is such a great place to learn.

The event will be a wonderful opportunity for prospective students to see our fantastic facilities and discover all the exciting opportunities we can offer them. Our Headteacher, Mr Barlow, will also be delivering a short presentation and other members of staff will be available for you to speak with throughout the evening.

This year, in order to limit the number of people on the school site during the event, we are holding the Open Evening solely for Year 6. Furthermore, we are running two separate sessions in order to keep numbers low and maintain a safe environment for our visitors, students and staff.

The first session will run from 4.45pm to 6.15pm and the second session will be from 6.45pm to 8.15pm. Both sessions will offer the same opportunity to visit different curriculum areas and view the facilities on offer. Mr Barlow will also deliver his presentation at both sessions.

We do hope that you will be able to join us on the 23rd September. Please use the link below to book on to the session of your choice. If you are unable to book a particular time, it will mean that the session is already fully booked and places will be available to book on the alternative session.

Year 6 Parents/ Carers who have been unable to book a place on a 2021 Open Evening session will have the opportunity to book themselves and their child on to a small group tour of the school at a later date. Details of these tours, and information on how to book a place, will be available here soon and also shared on our social media channels.

One final note, we do very much hope that the Open Evening will go ahead as planned. However, as you are no doubt aware, advice on holding events can change at any time. Therefore, please keep an eye on our school website and social media for any announcements relating to the event closer to the time.
