Chamber Event Provides Food for Thought

In May, Year Thirteen, Jamie Casey, who is studying History, Biology and Chemistry, attended the East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce Thursday Thirty network event at Congleton Restaurant, DV8.
These Chamber events are aimed at professionals but offer students a chance to learn more about their chosen field and network with different businesses.
Jamie aspires to study Food Science at University. He came runner up in Junior Master Chef a few years ago and, from his work placement last year, he gained part-time work at Pecks restaurant.
Jamie commented after the event that it was a great opportunity to meet and talk with catering professionals.
