Halloween Challenge was a Tasty Treat

Our DT Food and Nutrition teacher, Mrs Thorpe, challenged students to make some scary Halloween cupcakes over the October half-term break. We suggested a recipe and some ideas for decoration but students were free to choose their own recipe and decorate their bakes however they liked.
Lots of students joined in and kept their families happy with tasty treats for the holiday.

Year 7 student, Joseph P, sent in photos of his bakes, complete with icing, sprinkles and spooky toppers!

Aimee S and Francesca F, also in Year 7, created their bakes together, topping them with a variety of homemade pumpkins, witches hats, oreo spiders and grave stones!

Yum, they all look great. Hope they tasted as good as they look!
