Conclusion of A Level Chemistry Practicals

Our Year 13 A Level Chemists carried out their final practical at the end of April.

They were given six unknown organic compounds and were required to plan and carry out a series of chemical tests to identify the functional groups present in the sample and therefore positively identify each sample.

Dr Jones has been really pleased with their application throughout the A Level course:

“This class has shown such passion for Chemistry over the past two years, I will really miss them when they leave in a couple of weeks.”
