Gold Award for Archie and Miley

Congratulations to Year 8 Archie and Year 7 Miley DW, who both passed their Gold Lifesavers Level 1,2,3 at the end of April.

Some of the stages they were required to complete in order to achieve the award included:

• Learn how to do CPR.
• Know what to do if someone is choking.
• Demonstrate supported breathing whilst waiting for help.
• Coil and throw a rope to a casualty 12 metres away and pull them to the side within 30 seconds.

It’s taken seven years of hard work for Archie and Miley to pass all the various levels and Lifesavers awards. Well done to them both.
