CHS Drama Students Nominated for Awards

Year 13 CHS Drama student, Niamh M, has been nominated for a regional National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) acting award for 'Best female character youth performance in an adult production' for her role of Bobbie in Congleton Players’ The Railway Children.

CHS alumnus and Niamh’s The Railway Children co-star, Charlie House, has also been nominated for 'Best supporting male character in a youth musical' for his role as Gordon Shakespeare in Congleton Amateur Youth Theatre’s Nativity the musical. 

Our 2022-23 Head Student, Grace Kennedy, has been nominated too, for ‘Best supporting female character in a youth musical’ for her role as Dragon in Centre Stage Youth Theatre Company’s production of Shrek.

We wish Niamh, Charlie and Grace the very best of luck for the awards ceremony in February.
