CHS students and staff are invited to take part in the Rotary Club sponsored charity Swimathon at Congleton Leisure Centre on Saturday 16th March 2024.

The Swimathon will support the school’s own charity and two other local causes, The Old Saw Mill and The Listen Out Loud (LOL) Foundation.  The Old Saw Mill enhances the lives of local people who are socially isolated, lonely and in need of additional support. It also provides a meeting place for local groups with challenging problems. The Listen Out Loud (LOL) Foundation assists Congleton’s ex-service personnel, and supports veterans affected by homelessness and mental health.

Swimmers will take part in teams of up to eight people and each team will swim for a combined total of 55 minutes. Team members will take turns in the pool (only one swimmer at a time, but they can change over as often as they want).

Any students or staff who are interested in taking part can see Mrs Eckersley in H3 for more information or to sign up and get a sponsorship form.

Arrangements for Swimathon day:

Participants will need to meet at Congleton Leisure Centre at 4:40pm and the Swimathon takes place from 5:00pm until 6:00pm. Following this there will be a Rotary presentation and photographs from 6:10pm until 6:25pm.

Students will need to be collected at 6:30pm.
