It was BBC Children in Need Day on Friday 18th November and our fantastic students raised a fantastic £1,268.90 between them with a combination of activities throughout the week.

Led by our Sixth Form Charity Ambassadors, our students held very successful bakes sales on Wednesday and Friday. Along with all the wonderful cakes, the student sales team were also offering Pudsey merchandise (headbands, keyrings etc) and raffle tickets to win a big Pudsey Bear. Thank you to everyone who donated cakes for the sales, we really appreciated all your tremendous support.

On Friday, students took part in a Penalty Shoot out and experienced the main event - the annual BBC Children in Need Teacher Gunging! Students could vote for the teachers they wanted to be gunged by making a donation.

A very big thank you to Mrs Darling, Mr O'Brien and Mr Franklin for being such great sports and 'volunteering' to be gunged!

Congratulations to Year 13 student, Hannah B, who was lucky enough to win the big Pudsey Bear in the raffle.
