CHS Supports LGBT+ History Month

February is LGBT+ History Month and all this month our screen in the main hall is bringing light to different members of the LGBT+ community, including many with ties to the media sector, following this year's theme of 'Behind the Lens.'

As part of our celebrations our LGBTQ+ Ambassadors are hosting stalls and music in the hall at break and lunch on the last day of term (Friday 17th February). Students are invited to wear a bright item of clothing to school that day in addition to uniform to celebrate and support members of the LGBTQ+ community

Our LGBTQ+ Ambassadors will also be selling Pride related merchandise at break and lunch, including cakes and sweet treats. Face painting will be available for FREE.

Any cake donations would be greatly appreciated - please take them to Mrs Eckersley’s room (A0-21) on Friday morning.
