More Medal Success for Oscar

We celebrated more great national results from our Year 8 Swim champ, Oscar dV, in March when he competed at the Alan Higgs Centre in Coventry, representing CHS as part of the North West Division Swim team.

It was the English Schools' Swimming Association's 72nd Inter-Divisional Championships and Oscar was selected for six events across a mix of individual and relay races.

Results from the weekend were:

• 400 IM - Gold medal
• 4x100 Medley relay - Gold medal
• 6x50 Free mixed relay - 5th place
• 200IM - Bronze medal
• 400 Free - Gold medal
• 4x100 Free relay - Gold medal

This event was of particular importance to Oscar as it is used to select the teams for the 2023 International School Sport Federation (ISF) U15 Gymnasiade School Summer Games in Brazil!
