Students' Active Role in our 'Reading School' Plans

A group of our Year 10 and Year 12 students participated in Reading Buddy training at Crewe UTC in March. They joined students from Knutsford Academy, Crewe UTC, The Oaks Academy, and Sir William Stanier School.

The training sessions focused on the importance of reading for pleasure, its links to success and how to help younger students grow as readers.

This is the first step in our ongoing plan to roll out Reading Mentoring and develop CHS as a Reading School.
